SCAHT researcher David Pamies from the University of Lausanne, discusses the potential of brain organoids to study the neurotoxic effects of compounds. Pamies is talking on Future Tech Podcast, a programme which aims to explain the risks and potentials of new technologies. Pamies and colleagues in Lausanne are developing so-called organotypic brain cultures, which consist of different types of human brain cells.
