The meeting will include celebrations for the 60thbirthday of the EAPCCT. As in 2023 the congress will be a physical one, but all platform sessions will be recorded so delegates can attend or view every presentation. All the posters will be available on the virtual congress platform too.

It is getting clearer now that if we want to accelerate the adoption of NAMs (non-animal new approach methodologies), there is a need for more global harmonization of the criteria used for qualification of the techniques and validation of those criteria. To ensure confidence in new models, regulatory agencies need these to be qualified, confirming they are robust, that they faithfully mimic human level functionalities and that it is appropriate for specific contexts of use (COU). This panel discussion will tackle this challenging objective of defining acceptance criteria.

The meeting will connect researchers interested or working in the fields of experimental pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, clinical, experimental or regulatory toxicology, and in pharmaceutical medicine. The structure of the program will allow each discipline to present their field and its perspectives. A key objective of the conference is to promote interactions between academic, clinical and industrial.

This conference has become an important international meeting for producers, importers and downstream users of biocidal products. It will be providing information on the current regulatory developments as well as on the implementation of the BPR in the various EU member states.

Held every three years, Congresses on Toxicology in Developing Countries (CTDC) are sponsored by IUTOX. The meetings provide a forum for discussing toxicological problems facing developing countries in the future and exchanging views with toxicologists from all over the world, especially from developing countries and regions.

This conference series started in 2006 to offer a platform to the most relevant experts in the field to discuss the state-of-art and the challenges faced by the DNT field.
