Julia Alicia Boos holds a PhD in Bioengineering from ETH Zürich, where she also completed a postdoctoral fellowship. During this time, she focused on the development of new approach methodologies (NAMs) and advanced in vitro systems with applications in toxicology and microbiological research. In parallel, she began a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Toxicology at the University of Geneva in 2024 to strengthen her expertise in toxicology. Since October 2025, Julia has been working at the SCAHT as Project Coordinator of the ISTNET-DART initiative, and is involved in multiple projects related to developmental and reproductive toxicity (DART), contributing to the advancement of NAM-based approaches for regulatory use.
